Well I figured I'd write a new journal entry to update everyone as to what's going on in my boring ol' life. I was able to go to MTAC Friday night through Sunday! It was a fun con, but the organization could've been a lot better...My boyfriend and I weren't even able to attend the ball due to them holding it in a tiny ballroom instead of the grand ballroom. That was a major bummer. We weren't the only ones who had this problem and MTAC got a lot of bad reviews because of that. As far as new cosplays goes I'm pretty much done with Princess Small Lady. I just have to glue and adjust the shoulder armor to my shoulder width and it'll be good to go! The dress is ridiculously long so I might have to get it hemmed or else I could fall and crack my noggin open at the con I debut her at. I really need to get a jump on finishing RE2 Claire Redfield. I still have to have her shirt hemmed and modified, I have to find the right shoulder holster (which is proving to be a MAJOR pain in the arse. Any RE cosplayers have tips for me?), get gloves, find shorts to cut and/or dye, get the correct boots, and find a belt. Can you say stressed? I can, STRESSED!! My boyfriend is practically done with his Booker DeWitt cosplay and I really want to cosplay Elizabeth alongside him at the next con we attend, but I doubt I'll be able to have her done in time. The next con we plan to attend is OMGcon and it's in the middle of June. If I don't have Elizabeth done in time for that con, I might be able to finish her in time for AWA which is in September. I'm not even sure I'll attend AWA this year yet though, but it doesn't hurt to plan ahead! A cosplayers work is never done huh?
